Julie Gibson, Author and Publisher
Julie Gibson is a speaker, publisher, author, radio host, and entrepreneur. She educates, empowers and inspires her audiences to reach full stature in Christ. A former Vice President in the Capital Markets industry, Julie has worked on Wall Street and in the City of London, England. She began her writing career in 2006 with her seminal book, “Daughters of the Diaspora Get Ready”. Her new book, “Iraq the Graveyard of Empires” was released in May 2009. Julie’s love for the Lord Jesus Christ and her interests in history, geopolitics, and economics are congealing to produce timeless and serious works which have a global reach.
Julie’s commitment to the cause of Christ is evident in her willingness to step out on faith and support other authors who have something significant to say in these perilous times. As such, Julie founded Sanctuary Books Publishing Company (www.sanctuarybooks.com) to bring to market books that reflect a fresh and compelling Christian worldview. Sanctuary Books seeks to promote the Kingdom of God and provide Christ-centered resources for the transformation of persons, congregations, communities, cultures, countries and continents. As founder of the Africa Library Foundation, a nonprofit organization on a mission to build libraries in Africa, Julie combines her passion for books with the uplift of the African continent.
